SEN Teacher

Are you a compassionate and dedicated teacher with a passion for SEN education? Three R’s Teacher Recruitment are working with an established SEN school local to Ashford who are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their welcoming team.

In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in delivering engaging and therapeutic education to students with a range of needs. You’ll support small class sizes of 5–10 pupils across both Primary and Secondary divisions, ensuring every child has the chance to thrive.

SEN Teacher Responsibilities:

Deliver creative, adaptive lessons tailored to meet individual student needs

Support pupils with SEMH, ADHD, and a range of language and communication difficulties

Foster a therapeutic, inclusive environment that encourages progress and personal development

Work collaboratively with a skilled team of teaching assistants and SEN specialists

Contribute to the wider school ethos of care, trust, and achievement

SEN Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK

Previous experience teaching or supporting SEN students (SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties)

Strong behaviour management and pastoral care skills

Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse and individual learning needs

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
