Night shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in med/surg nursing and be comfortable working night shifts. You will be responsible for providing quality care to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to COPD exacerbation, sepsis, and UTIs.

Responsibilities

Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical conditions.

Administer medications and monitor IV therapy.

Perform respiratory interventions, including CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen administration.

Assist with wound care and isolation precautions.

Manage central lines and provide tracheostomy care.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including pharmacy and radiology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.

Previous charge experience preferred.

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Experience with charting systems is required.

Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred.
