$85,000 - $95,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Test newly installed electrical components to ensure proper function
Install wiring and other electrical components, and test to ensure it’s properly connected
Interpret and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Ensure that the wiring meets all building codes and standards for safety
Perform maintenance and installation of electrical equipment in homes, businesses, and factories
As the Master Electrician and Estimator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the electrical systems we deliver meet the highest standards of quality and compliance while providing accurate and competitive estimates for projects.
Master Electrician Duties:
Oversee and manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial projects.
Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and apprentices.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
Estimator Duties:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical components of MEP projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
Review blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to identify electrical work requirements.
Research and analyze historical data, vendor pricing, and market trends to ensure competitive bidding.Qualifications:
Clear communicator and can speak with tact and courtesy when dealing with customers
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable in all kinds of working and weather conditions, from small confined areas to great heights
Electrician associate’s degree from technical school is required
Valid electrician license is required
Licensure: Active Master Electrician license in the state of Texas (required).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical work, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or estimator role.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.About Company
