Your day to day as a Tooling Associate

As a Tooling Associate at Superior Plastics, you'll harness your passion for working with tools and your mechanical skills to dive deep into the world of injection mold tools. This role is perfect for those eager to learn about tool repair and maintenance while assisting with the ordering of essential spare parts. You'll also help manage cost spreadsheets that track tool repairs and maintain schedules for tool timelines, ensuring smooth operations within our factory.

Your journey will include learning about tool build design, collaborating with tool shops, and interacting with customers. Additionally, you'll engage with plant staff on mold samplings, providing practical experience that will enhance your expertise in Injection Molding. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Mechanically Inclined.

Injection Molding knowledge preferred but not required.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft such as Excel.
