As a talented entry-level pastry chef joining our culinary team, your role will involve preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Food Preparation and Execution: - Prepare and produce a range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and standards. - Monitor and maintain inventory of pastry and baking supplies. - Quality Control: - Uphold high standards of food quality and consistency. - Conduct regular tastings and evaluations to ensure flavors, textures, and presentation meet expectations. - Safety and Sanitation: - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications required for this role include: - Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, methods, and kitchen equipment. - Creative flair and passion for developing new recipes and dessert presentations. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Formal culinary education or equivalent experience is preferred. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should also be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team are essential. The salary for this position is up to 17.5k, along with service charge & tips, food & accommodation, a 9-hour shift, and working 6 days a week.,
