Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing x-ray examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing various medical conditions. This role requires effective communication with patients and a commitment to ensuring their safety and comfort during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patients' comfort.
- Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences.
- Monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• An associate's or bachelor's degree in radiology from an accredited 2 year or 4 year college.
· ARRT certifiction
• A Mississippi license to practice radiography.
· Must be willing to day or night shift open for coverage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and compassion.
• Good mathematical abilities and technical skills.
• Good organizational, time management, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
• The ability to lift heavy weights without assistance.
PRN Radiologic Technologist employees are expected to have experience or willing to learn CT with these responsibilities:
• Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional.
• Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients.
• Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images.
• Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging.
• Examining images to ensure they’re usable.
• Updating patient medical information
• Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment.
• Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required.
