Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical

Unit: Med/Surg ER

Shift: 12-hour Night

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in the Med/Surg ER.

Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate patient care.

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and health maintenance.

Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of Kansas.

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
