We are currently supporting one of the largest international groups within the gambling industry, as they look to recruit a Head of Business Project Management. Role

This opportunity offers a diverse range of responsibilities. You will lead a department of 4 people, and support project management needs across different group companies.

In your department, projects related to organizational development will be prepared and managed. You will deal with aspects relevant to the organisation's strategic direction. To do this, you will analyse IT system data, listen to development needs, and identify processes within the company that require adjustment. You will manage strategic projects and make an active contribution to continuous transformation.

Your tasks:

As Head of Business Project Management, you will strategically adapt the project portfolio to the company's goals and vision and maintain an overview of planned projects.

You will support the technical project management for the current update from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA with in-depth knowledge in the implementation of multi-year projects.

You will also generate, formulate and prioritize tasks, bundle them, and make suggestions for projects and sub-projects that you assign to project teams or departments.

Furthermore, you create synergies by maintaining an overview of project ideas and ongoing projects across a wide range of departments and encouraging joint approaches.

You are the coordinating interface between various project managers, the specialist departments, the company's IT department and external service providers and are able to mediate skilfully between all of them.

You will draw conclusions from project results and can use your experience to contribute to the development of new methods/procedures for internal project management and the optimisation of existing instruments.

Your qualifications:

Successfully completed studies with a focus on IT, business administration or a commercial apprenticeship with further training and experience in project management

At least 5 years of experience as a project manager in IT/digital projects with management responsibility

Experience in IT projects with SAP products, preferably SAPP ERP ECC or S/4 HANA is desirable

Knowledge of the collaboration platforms Confluence and Jira is desirable

Experience with agile, hybrid and classic project management methods

Very good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint, and good English skills

Analytical and conceptual strength, independent and structured working style

Team player and strong communication skills, especially in the areas of consulting skills, moderation skills and conflict resolution skills
