Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist skilled in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine for weekday shifts with a supportive team.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department
Schedule is Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts and varied start times between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM
Optional 10-hour shifts available during holiday weeks
Includes 1 evening shift and 1 Saturday per month
Federal holidays are off
Daily caseload includes approximately 33 PET/CT scans focusing on oncology, whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging
Department uses 2 PET/CT scanners
Both inpatient and outpatient cases are seen
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
A supportive team environment is emphasized
Federal holidays are not scheduled
Scrubs are not provided; grey color is preferred
All time off requests must be included during the application process
Locals are accepted at the same rate
Former employees may be considered after a 6-month break
Current employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel role
Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after signing the contract
Requirements
Experience in PET/CT imaging and general nuclear medicine is required
Ability to start IVs and proficiency with PACS systems is necessary
Current BLS certification, ARRT or NMTCB credential, and state license required if applicable
At least two professional references, with one from a supervisor or manager
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is required
