Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of radiology experience and current ARRT (CT) certification for a weekend shift assignment in an acute care setting. Responsibilities
Position is in an acute care environment on the CT/XRay Tech unit
Work schedule is Friday through Sunday, 3x12 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
Unit performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures
Uses EpicCare Inpatient EMR for charting
Responsibilities include performing high quality CT imaging procedures following safety protocols
Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of CT theory, procedures, and safety precautions
Experience with electronic patient information systems preferred
Team-oriented work environment with support from radiology staff
No orientation hours provided for assignment Requirements
Current ARRT (CT) certification required
Washington State certification required for at least two specialties, one of which must be bone density, CT, quality management special procedures, or mammography
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years experience in radiology required
Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training is required
Experience or knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred for CT
