Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an ARRT-certified CT Technologist with radiography experience and Ohio state licensure for a night shift assignment in a Level I trauma setting. Responsibilities

Level I trauma hospital setting

CT Tech unit with a typical volume of 270-290 scans per day

Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:00 to 06:30

Work every fourth weekend and holidays as assigned

Call assigned within staff rotation

Uses GE and Toshiba/Cannon CT equipment

EMR is Epic

Performs diagnostic CT and routine radiographic procedures in accordance with professional guidelines

Ensures radiation safety for patients and staff

Prepares patients and positions them according to department protocols

Charcoal grey scrubs required

Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Current ARRT certification in CT and X-ray required

Ohio state radiology license required; pending license accepted

BLS certification required

2 years of experience preferred, may consider less with Level I or II trauma experience

Experience in large hospital or trauma Level I/II environment preferred

Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon CT equipment Benefits
