Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active OH or compact license, night shift availability, and recent L&D experience. Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit

Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

13-week assignment duration

May be required to float to other units as needed

Uses Epic EMR system and experience with Epic is required

Locals are accepted at the same rate

Must promptly complete Ohio fingerprinting process after signing contract

All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application

Former employees eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months

Current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible for this travel position

Structured orientation and support provided for travelers

First time travelers will be considered

References from coworkers will not be accepted Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required at the time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

NCC C-EFM certification accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced

Proficiency in IV start and core Labor & Delivery nursing skills required

Epic EMR experience required

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Two professional references required, at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor

Previous travel nurse experience preferred Benefits
