Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives in the development, enhancement, and delivery of our healthcare technology products. The ideal candidate will bring deep project management expertise, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of the healthcare domain—especially around software development, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST), and patient or provider-facing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex healthcare product initiatives across multiple teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance, etc.)

Work closely with product managers to translate product vision and roadmap into executable projects

Manage project timelines, resources, risks, and budgets to ensure successful and timely delivery

Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables

Oversee vendor relationships, contract milestones, and third-party integrations where applicable

Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, data privacy standards, and internal compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, HITRUST, SOC 2)

Track and report key project metrics, status updates, and outcomes to executive leadership

Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups (where Agile is used)

Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies across programs and product lines

Champion continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field; Master's degree or PMP/PMI certification is a plus

8+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 3 years in the healthcare domain (payer, provider, health tech, or pharma)

Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)

Experience managing cross-functional software development projects in a regulated environment

Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EDI, ICD/CPT codes) is a plus

Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management platforms
