What you will do…

Act as project manager for assigned projects, including oversight of projects assigned to lower-level engineers

Act as lead inspector and prepare written inspection reports for assigned projects

Provide technical assistance and guidance to lower-level staff, consultants, dam owners, and public officials

Investigate hazard potential for dams and make recommendations regarding hazard classification to program managers

Attend and participate in meetings, seminars, conferences, and other training opportunities to improve technical knowledge

Starting hourly pay of $39.22/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $55.99/hr.

UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: May be required to work hours outside of normal business hours in the office &/or in the field in the event of a dam safety or flooding emergency.

Certificate of registration as professional engineer issued by State Licensing Board AND 12 mos. exp. as Natural Resources Engineer 2, 85742 or 12 mos. equivalent related engineering experience.
