Must Haves:

1+ years of experience within Hardware/Network troubleshooting

installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices

Key job responsibilities:

Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect and troubleshoot cabling Installation and maintenance of copper and fiber cable infrastructure

Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords

Ensure that the Data Center and vendor installations comply with all installation practices

Report current status via ticketing system, status reports, email and slack Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects

Maintain accurate records and document problems and processes to successfully draft and execute changes within data centers

Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain site cleanliness Work with a partner to move integrated enterprise equipment from loading docks into planned positions

Manage, check and coordinate all materials to be delivered to site daily

Summary:

Our Client is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician. Our client's Infrastructure team is responsible for day to day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work and capacity management. This technician will also be involved with installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices. You will work in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network. You will launch cutting edge server technologies and solve diverse networking impairments. You will quickly and accurately assess a wide range of infrastructure issues, which requires a good understanding of computers, servers, switches and various networking devices from both a hardware and software perspective and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology.
