Description

Manage Tenant Improvement and “ground up" projects in the 100K sf-150K sf range. Utilize structural precast/tilts-up construction methods. Responsible for project delivery, time management, and how to deal with unanticipated events and unforeseen events and conditions. Lead project teams to ensure successful completion of project objectives. Manage architects, engineers, sub-contractors, and other vendors throughout all phases of a project. Negotiate and prepare contracts for all vendors and sub-contractors. Communicate and implement project specific safety, quality, and stormwater management protocols. Utilize best practices of project management. Create budget estimates and bids as needed for assigned projects. Negotiate and settle differences without damaging relationships. Create and manage comprehensive construction schedules. Use technologies including Excel, Procore, and Smartsheet to manage projects. Travel to building sites within the state of Ohio several times per week is required.

Requirements

Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction management or civil engineering, or foreign equivalent and 12 yrs experience as project manager, construction project manager, or similar occupation in the construction or engineering trades and 12 years of experience with construction methodologies and procedures, including experience in design-build projects.
