Role Overview

As a Nurse Practitioner at Matrix, you will conduct comprehensive health assessments during visits that can last up to one hour. You'll gain valuable insights into a member's overall health by reviewing their medical history, medication adherence, social environment, and potential risks. Your role will involve:

Performing adult and geriatric assessments, including medical history reviews, diagnoses, health education, and appropriate referrals.

Administering and ordering necessary point-of-care and lab-based testing.

Collaborating with physicians, case managers, social workers, and family members for optimal care management.

Providing care at the member's residence, which may include their home or skilled nursing facilities.

Competitive Pay: Your earnings can range from $1,800 to $11,500 per month, based on the number of assessments completed.

Qualifications

Master's Degree or equivalent experience along with satisfactory completion of NP licensure.

Current NP licensure in your practice state, including prescription authority or willingness to obtain it.

Board certification in a relevant specialty (AANP, AACN, or ANCC).

Current BLS, ACLS, or CPR certification.

Preferred: 1 year of NP experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Valid driver's license and proof of adequate auto insurance.

Strong computer skills and proficiency in medical record software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
