A successful and supportive school is seeking a part-time English Teacher to join their well-established English department from January until the end of the academic year to cover maternity leave. You’ll be teaching up to KS5, inspiring students with a passion for literature, language, and communication.

English Literature Teacher responsibilities:
Teach English across KS3–KS5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons
Plan, prepare, and mark work in line with curriculum requirements
Foster a love of literature and language, encouraging analytical and creative thinking
Monitor and report on student progress
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental resources and teaching strategies
English Literature Teacher requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised in the UK
Experience teaching English up to KS5
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for literature and language
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Available 3 days per week
