Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: Ras Laffan (NFE Kahramaa Site)
Duration: 4 Months (Extendable)
Working Hours: 10 Hours/Day, 6 Days/Week

Job Purpose:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising, executing, and ensuring the quality of all electrical works at the project site, with a primary focus on substations, cable terminations, and electrical panel installations. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in cable termination activities and have a solid understanding of electrical systems used in oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee electrical installation, commissioning, and testing works at site.
Supervise and support electricians during cable laying, termination, and panel installation.
Ensure all electrical activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
Inspect, verify, and approve electrical works prior to energization.
Coordinate with project engineers, QA/QC, and safety teams for smooth execution.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and layouts.
Ensure proper documentation of all electrical works and site progress reports.
Troubleshoot and resolve any site-related electrical issues efficiently.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry.
Proven experience in substations, cable terminations, and electrical panel installations.
Sound knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage site teams effectively.
