SQA Engineer - Manual & Automation

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of hands-on experience in software QA / testing.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Proven experience in manual testing and exposure to test automation.

Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience in data and database testing (SQL required).

API and Postman testing experience is mandatory.

Familiarity with Git for version control is preferred.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

Experience testing cloud-based or microservices applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.

Conduct data validation and database testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend integrations.

Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like ClickUp, JIRA, Trello, or similar.

Collaborate with developers, designers, and business teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or PHPUnit.

Participate in release planning and validate deployments in staging and production environments.

Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous improvement processes.
