The Recovery & Collections Administrator is a key role for the smooth function of the Finance (Collections) Department of Ayvens. One of the main tasks is to ensure that debt exposure is reduced and monthly KPI’s are achieved. He/she will act as liaisons between businesses and customers to collect debts and resolve outstanding balances. Additionally, he/she is responsible to contribute in controlling the risk in our portfolio and support the relationship between Ayvens and outsource Collection’s agency.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of accounts receivable, verbal and written communication with clients.
Handling customer queries and complaints by letter, email and telephone, received from several sources and in line with company procedure and timescales.
Establishment of effective communication routines with the Outsourced Provider with regards to the management, monitoring and reporting of debt levels and performance in line with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
Reconciliation of accounts with clients - when and if necessary.
Analyze portfolio exposure and assist in clientele targeting
Liaise with the Credit Risk team to ensure prompt identification of cases with increased credit risk and proposal of measures.
Assistance in communication with Central team (utp/non-utp assessments, justification of past due accounts etc).
Meet all agreed SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Build relationships and develop the trust of the internal and external Customers.
Maintain a high level of service focus, ensuring Ayvens Service Style is adopted and always supported.
Qualifications and skills:
Minimum 2 years experience in collections.
University degree in Economics will be considered as a plus.
Sound knowledge of legal terms and procedures.
Digital literacy and tech savviness
Excellent command of English - verbal and written.
Being multitasking and able to prioritize and handle complex situations.
Strong listening skills
Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written combined with excellent communication skills.
Demonstrates initiative and motivation and acts promptly to get things done.
Dares to take a stance and express it.
Indicates swiftly when a thing can or cannot be done.
Co-operates and builds relationships in the immediate work environment.
