Certified Medical Assistant

Position: Medical Assistant Location: 300 W 10th Ave Columbus, OH 43210 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Position Type: Contract Contract duration: 13 Weeks Roles & Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant will support the patient care treatment process by assisting the physicians, nurse practitioners and other clinical staff in the appropriate delivery of patient care services.

The Medical Assistant may be expected to perform multiple advanced clinical support tasks without supervision.

This position prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.

Requirements: High school diploma and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred.

BLS certification is required.
