Teasdale Fenton, a family-owned Cleaning and Property Restoration Company, has immediate openings in their Columbus branch for Lead Water Mitigation Technicians. In that role, you will spearhead our water damage restoration efforts, ensuring efficient and effective solutions for our clients. You lead other employees in mitigating water damage, remediating mold, and restoring properties to their pre-loss condition. Your expertise and leadership ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
Leads and supervises other Water Mitigation Technicians on job sites.
Conducts water damage assessments and develops mitigation plans.
Performs water extraction, mold remediation, and structural drying according to industry standards.
Applies Applied Structural Drying (ASD) techniques to efficiently dry affected areas.
Utilizes Xactimate to estimate project costs and document project progress.
Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Provides exceptional customer service and maintains clear communication with clients throughout the restoration process.
Manages project documentation and ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Trains and mentors team members on proper restoration techniques and equipment usage.Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in water damage restoration.
Ability to pass pre-employment screening process, including driving record, criminal background check, and drug screen. Must have the ability to become DOT certified.Knowledge/Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of Water Damage Restoration, Water Extraction, and Mold Remediation processes.
Proficiency in Applied Structural Drying (ASD) techniques.
Expertise in using Xactimate for estimating and project management.
Strong understanding of project management principles.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
IICRC Certification in Water Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) required, additional certifications such as Mold Remediation (AMRT) is a plus.Physical Requirements/Work Conditions:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. individually, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and areas affected by water damage or mold.
Ability to work as a part of an on-call/weekend rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
