QA/QC Engineer - Civil

Role & responsibilities

1. Implement and maintain quality control procedures at the site. Ensure

compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards

(IS codes, ASTM, BS, etc.).Review and monitor the contractor's quality

practices to ensure they meet project requirements.

2. Conduct daily inspections of site activities (concreting, shuttering,

reinforcement, finishing works, etc.). Raise Inspection Requests (IRs)

and coordinate with consultants/clients for approvals. Identify

non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.

3. Conduct routine inspections for civil, structural, finishing,

plumbing, services, and PHE works.

4. Ensure all PHE works (water supply, drainage, sewerage, stormwater,

fire-fighting, and plumbing systems) comply with approved drawings,

specifications, and standards.

5. Conduct inspections of pipe laying, jointing, pressure testing,

leakage testing, and alignment checks. Verify the quality of plumbing

and sanitary installations.

6. Supervise hydrostatic pressure tests, chlorination, flushing, and

disinfection of pipelines. Monitor functional testing of pumps,

fire-fighting systems, and drainage systems. Coordinate with

consultants/clients for inspection approvals.
