Job Title: Investment Associate – Private Equity

Location: Stuttgart (Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office)

With a hands-on investment approach, the team supports portfolio companies in strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and expansion opportunities.

Role Overview

The Investment Associate will support the deal team across all stages of the investment cycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to executing transactions and driving portfolio value creation. This role is well-suited for candidates with a strong analytical foundation and prior experience in M&A, consulting, or transaction advisory, who are motivated to develop a career in private equity.

Key Responsibilities

Support the origination, evaluation, and execution of small-cap private equity investments.

Build detailed financial models, conduct valuations, and prepare market and industry analyses.

Assist in due diligence processes and preparation of investment committee materials.

Contribute to portfolio management by supporting strategic initiatives and monitoring performance.

Conduct research on sectors, companies, and market trends to support deal sourcing.

Develop relationships with advisors, entrepreneurs, and other market participants.

Qualifications & Experience

2–4 years of relevant professional experience.

Prior experience in investment banking (M&A), strategy consulting, or Big 4 Transaction Advisory required.

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with attention to detail and commercial awareness.

Motivation to build a career in private equity, ideally with prior exposure to small- or mid-cap companies.

Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a lean, dynamic team environment.

Strong communication skills, with fluency in German and English.
