Data & Analytics Architect/ Engineer

Our client is a leader in the Mechanical Construction + Construction Services industry, bringing talented Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing resources to large-scale construction projects (i.e.

Hospitals, Universities, etc.). They're currently consolidating several business units I.T.

resources, into a single centralized organization and seeking to move from current Enterprise Reporting solutions to a cloud-based Data & Analytics approach.

They’ll be leveraging Azure SQL and Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, etc.

They're a small (<20 FTE's) I.T.

department where you'll play a couple different roles so are seeking those that have worked in smaller shops and enjoy the variety.

This is truly a ground floor opportunity as they’ve just implemented Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management software running in Azure and will be looking to build out their enterprise analytics solutions.

More specifically, you'll lead the architecture and design of their future state Data & Analytics solutions:Architect and support scalable data solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure + FabricLead the design and development of ETL/ ELT processesEngage/ collaborate with Finance, Operations to identify needs, establish KPIs and translate them into dashboards, report and technical solutionsDevelop, manage and optimize Power BI reports + dashboardsEstablish best practices around data governance, security and compliance issuesOversee Data Quality Mgmt., metadata documentation and process improvementsMonitor system performance, database tuning and query optimization SERIOUS CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:US Citizen or Green Card Holder (Absolute MUST!)Data Modeling and Data Warehouse design backgroundExtensive Azure SQL database/ data warehouse experienceAdvanced Power BI report/ dashboard development- Proven track-record leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Azure, etc.

Strong ETL/ ELT development -pulling data from CRM, ERP, etc sourcesAnalytics for financial operations (Financial reporting standards, processes, etc.) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE A PLUS: Mechanical Construction (HVAC, Electrical, Industrial Plumbing) and/ or Construction Service industry background Experience implementing data governance, data security and compliance practices
