Location: Remote or Newark, DE (Hybrid Optional)

As we expand our services, we are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Chart Auditor to support our dental clients with accurate, high-quality chart reviews and compliance insights.

Position Summary:

As a Dental Chart Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing dental records and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and proper coding. Your role will help clients maintain regulatory compliance, maximize billing accuracy, and improve patient care documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Review dental charts, treatment plans, X-rays, and clinical notes for accuracy and completeness

Audit coding (CDT) and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA, ADA, and payer-specific guidelines

Identify discrepancies or missing information and communicate findings to relevant teams

Provide clear and actionable feedback to dental providers or administrators

Assist in the development of best practices and audit procedures

Maintain confidentiality and uphold data security standards at all times

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in dental chart auditing, dental hygiene, or dental billing/coding

Knowledge of dental terminology, CDT codes, and compliance standards

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment

Preferred: Certification in dental coding/auditing (e.g., CDPMA, CPC, or similar)
