Description
The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Cook to join our Food Services Department. The Cook will perform a variety of tasks to prepare nutritious meals following the National School Lunch Program guidelines. They will be responsible for preparing large meals, up to 120 people at one time. Other duties include cleanup before, during, and after meals as well as all needs associated with running and maintaining a well-functioning kitchen. They will be required to maintain a food safety standard, such as ServSafe, at all times.

The Residential Campus, a division of The Buckeye Ranch, offers behavioral health and child welfare programs across a wide continuum of care. We proudly serve over 5,000 children and families annually, with a strong foundation in family centered, trauma-informed care.
Schedule: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Sunday - Thursday, 9:30a - 6p)
What you'll do:
Open kitchen for preparation of meals daily.
Organize workspace to ensure it is maintained in a presentable, reasonably well-organized way which contributes to efficiency and wise use of space.
Meal preparation for clients, staff, and more.
Prepares the correct amount of food with minimizing food waste for each meal.
Serve meals to client and staff.
Complete other tasks such as cleaning, dishes, and taking out the trash.

Qualifications
Who you are:
You have a high school diploma, or equivalent
You have at least 1 year of food service experience
You can cook large quantities of food; read and follow recipes
You have an active driver's license
