Senior Process Development Engineer

Job Description

Title: Senior Process Development Engineer – Packaging Equipment

Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite, ~20% travel)

Shift: Swing shift – flexibility required for day/night operations

Role Overview:

Support GMP Final Drug Product (FDP) operations with a focus on packaging equipment, device assembly, and process optimization. This technical leadership role drives equipment commissioning/validation, technical transfers, and operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical lead for automated/semi-automated device assembly & packaging equipment

Commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) ownership, including site master validation plan

Support new product technical transfers and packaging line optimization

Troubleshoot equipment and implement process improvements

Author/manage technical documentation, deviations, CAPA, and change controls

Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate across company sites

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s + 4 yrs GMP exp. (or equivalent: Master’s +2, PhD, Associate’s +8, HS/GED +10)

Hands-on GMP packaging/combination product equipment experience

Strong technical writing and document management (Kneat/Veeva )

Project leadership and cross-functional communication skills
