Energy Program Developer The Office of Energy and Environment within the Ohio Department of Development is presently hiring for an Energy Program Developer to join a team of dedicated individuals who help drive Ohio's energy future through innovation, efficiency, and community impact.
What you'll be doing: * Provide technical assistance and guidance on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and advanced energy technologies.
* Implement and monitor state energy programs and initiatives.
* Review and evaluate energy projects for compliance, effectiveness, and impact.
* Develop, monitor, and improve energy programs, guidelines, and standards.
* Prepare reports, proposals, and funding request for state and federal agencies.
* Represent the department at meetings, conferences, and public forums.
* Conduct on-site monitoring visits to evaluate project performance and quality.
* Conduct community outreach in relation to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and advanced energy projects.
* Provide professional customer service, maintaining transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.
Completion of graduate core program in business administration/public administration, environmental/energy sciences or mechanical engineering; 12 months training or 12 months experience in analyzing/monitoring energy programs and technologies dealing with energy programs commensurate with approved PD on file; must be able to provide own transportation.
* Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration/public administration, environmental/energy sciences or mechanical engineering; 24 months training or 24 months experience in analyzing/monitoring energy programs and technologies dealing with energy programs commensurate with approved PD on file; must be able to provide own transportation.
* Or 48 months training or 48 months experience in building technology or analyzing/monitoring energy programs and technologies dealing with energy programs commensurate with approved PD on file; must be able to provide own transportation.
