To keep it that way, we at the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Lower Saxony, KVN for short, and our 700 colleagues ensure the provision of contracted doctors (m/f/d) and psychotherapists (m/f/d) throughout Lower Saxony.

We also represent their interests vis-à-vis health insurance companies and politicians and provide comprehensive advice on all issues relating to setting up a practice, practice management and billing.

Innovative and forward-looking digital solutions play a central role in this, which is why we currently have around 100 specialists working in our IT department, and the number is growing.

They work with complex databases and on software solutions developed in-house.

Then support us at our Hanover location as IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) The position is suitable for part-time work, but can be filled full-time.

Your tasks with us: As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing network and workplace-specific risks and vulnerabilities and will work closely with colleagues in our IT infrastructure.

You will work on the implementation of IT security processes and activities and evaluate new IT security technologies.

You create concepts and decision papers to improve the security level and carry out risk assessments and vulnerability analyses independently or as part of workshops.

You manage and maintain the hardening parameters of our IT landscape (e.g.

in the Active Directory) and support the quality assurance of security measures.

You are responsible for setting up and developing security dashboards and reports.

What you bring to the table: You have a successfully completed degree, ideally with a focus on information technology, or comparable training in the IT sector.

We require the usual security certificates for this demanding job.

You will impress with your in-depth specialist knowledge, both in the design of IT security systems and in technical IT security management.

You have in-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and ideally Tenable and Splunk.

Knowledge of the ITIL process landscape is an advantage You enjoy identifying errors and developing self-organized solutions.

With your analytical and independent way of thinking, you find it easy to respond to the needs of our internal customers in a service-oriented manner, even in stressful situations.
