Job Summary Facilitate food services.

Clean tables, carry dirty dishes, set tables, replenish supply of silverware, glasses and dishes and condiments, and serve water, bread and butter to members when required.

Key Responsibilities: * Remove dishes including glasses, plates, silverware and barware from tables and place them in kitchen and bar for cleaning.

* Wipe clean and set tables with clean silverware, napkins, condiments and other supplies.

* Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchen for cleaning.

* Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.

* Maintain kitchen and dining work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

* Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations and refrigerators.

* Stock cabinets and serving areas with condiments, and refill condiment containers as necessary.

* Refill drinking glasses with water.

* Clean, sanitize and reset tables after meals.

* Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware and dishware.

* Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by carpet sweeping.

* Assist servers with marking tables in between meal courses.

* Support country club as needed.

* Special project as assigned by management.

Education & Experience: High-school graduate or GED equivalent required.

Valid Arizona Food Handler's card.

Entry level, 1-2 years experience in the service industry preferred.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

This includes meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Good customer contact skills.

Able to interact successfully with a variety of people in person and by telephone.

Excellent oral communication skills as well as memorization skills in retaining information.

Must be confident of skills and have the ability to make sound, independent decisions when appropriate; have the willingness to adjust to and conform to varying schedules; have excellent communication skills; and be able to get along well with others.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: The ability to speak and listen to others and comprehend information and ideas presented through English spoken words and sentences.

The ability to see and read fine print.

The ability to stand for long periods of time.

The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Must be able to bend and squat.

Must be able to lift/carry up to fifty pounds.

Must be able to work in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled work area.

Must be able to see and work with customers and work in open area with other employees.

Employee will come in contact with cutlery, graters, slicers, ranges, heat, chemicals and cleaning solvents as necessary.
