JOB SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician is responsible for calibrating, testing, and preparing Beckman Echo systems for shipping. The role contributes to troubleshooting, process improvement, and ensures that instruments meet quality and performance standards. This is an on-site position reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor in San Jose, CA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow established procedures to calibrate and test Beckman Echo systems.

Prepare instruments for shipping, ensuring proper documentation and quality compliance.

Provide first-line troubleshooting for diagnosing technical or operational issues.

Contribute to team problem-solving and continuous process improvement activities.

Maintain accurate records of calibration and testing results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing role.

Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; basic understanding of statistical methods and testing procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering technology.

Prior experience with calibration, automation, centrifuges, plate readers, or related lab equipment.

Familiarity with chemistry and liquid handling instruments.
