Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Assistant Store Leader, where you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of our store. You will oversee store performance, manage employee schedules, and contribute to the development of operational plans that enhance our team's capabilities.

Position Type: Full-Time

Average Hours: 38 hours per week

Starting Wage: $26.00 per hour

Wage Increase: Year 2 - $27.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Store Leader in executing action plans to boost store performance.

Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.

Identify training and development opportunities for employee growth.

Foster a cooperative and engaging team environment aligned with company values.

Monitor local market trends and suggest operational adjustments.

Provide insightful product feedback to the Store Leader.

Take part in interviewing and selecting new team members.

Effectively communicate updates and milestones to the team.

Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling standards, and cash control policies.

Resolve customer concerns in the absence of the Store Leader.

Identify and rectify hazards to maintain a safe store environment.

Maintain high cleanliness standards and proper signage throughout the store.

Assist in managing stock levels and product merchandising.

Ensure the quality and freshness of products available for sale.

Support the Store Leader in meeting payroll and budget objectives.

Supervise daily operations and provide guidance to team members.

Ensure the highest level of customer service through efficient performance.

Follow all company policies to maintain security and confidentiality.

Perform other duties as required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.

Regularly engage in standing, bending, pushing, and walking throughout the store.

Capable of performing physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older.

Strong ability to work independently and within a team.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to establish goals and evaluate team performance.

Understanding of budgeting and expense management.

Capable of operating a cash register accurately.

Proficient in using various store equipment and maintaining cleanliness.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Must meet local and state requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of retail experience required.

Management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
