Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Columbus, OH. This role focuses on assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy services to students, helping them achieve their munication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
Work directly with students in one-on-one and small group settings.
Collect and document student progress data accurately.
Prepare therapy materials and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student munication needs.
Adhere to confidentiality policies and ethical standards in therapeutic services.
Qualifications and Experience:
pletion of an accredited SLPA program or equivalent training.
Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state of Ohio.
Experience working with children, preferably in a K-12 educational environment.
Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
