PGS Worldwide is actively seeking an experienced C-130 Flight Control Sheet Metal Mechanic to support aircraft modification and repair operations in Greenville, SC. This role focuses on fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces, with a specific emphasis on flight controls and thinner material work.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of aircraft structures/sheet metal experience, including hands-on work with flight control repairs or back shop fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install aircraft structures and surfaces in accordance with engineering drawings, manuals, and FAA regulations

Repair internal and external aircraft structures, with a focus on flight control surfaces and thin materials

Perform back shop fabrication and repair tasks as needed

Follow proper procedures for aircraft modification and repair work

Ensure compliance with technical manuals and engineering specifications

Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and fellow mechanics to ensure work meets all safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years of aircraft structures/sheet metal experience

Experience with thinner materials and/or flight control repairs

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and FAA regulations

Must be available to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training

Must be able to report onsite in Greenville, SC with all required documentation by 10/20/25 start date

U.S. Citizenship required due to program requirements

Desired Qualifications:

Prior C-130 aircraft structures experience

Flight control repair experience strongly preferred

Back shop fabrication/repair or general aviation sheet metal repair experience

Part fabrication experience

Tools provided by company (no personal tools required)
