Structural Engineer - Project Manager

Job Description

Description: Project Manager with a Professional Engineer licensure in building design and experience in structural engineering services. Has overall responsibility for completing structural services for the design of concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures in accordance with current building codes. (Minimum 10+ years of Building Design Experience)

Role and Expectations: Generate revenue by developing and maintaining client relationships and workflow; direct and supervise engineering work related to your projects; mentor and train employees for career development; and represent the firm to employees, clients, and the industry

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Manage and complete projects within the scope of work, budget, and schedule

Regularly review the tracking of project invoices and project budgets

Support the efforts of our clients to win business and develop positive relationships

Participate in business development activities, including proactively interacting with prospective and current clients/owners, positioning the firm to win work

Help develop the scope of services and prepare proposals for projects

Responsible for the accuracy of technical documents through quality assurance reviews during various phases of the project

Guide and direct the work of staff members, with the ability to lead staff and to resolve conflicts

Provide structural analysis and calculations with proper code research and implementation

Stay current with codes, materials, methods, technology, and industry developments

Maintains state licensure and ethical standards for Professional Engineers.Company Description
