Your Role
As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing information technology projects and initiatives while also maintaining and administering our IT systems in the facility scope (workspaces, access control, printing, etc.). Your role will be administering IT systems and enhancing the environment throughout its lifecycle in the region. You collaborate closely with the facility managers, participate in projects, and manage suppliers. Technologies in scope; Print fleet management, Physical Access Control, Networking, End User Hardware.
What You’ll Do
Service Desk:
Provide specialist level user support on facility hardware, tooling, and associated services by answering questions and resolving issues for internal customers – in person, via telephone, via email, or via online tooling
Provide system troubleshooting assistance, finding the root cause for issues
Manage escalated issues in line with the Service Level Agreement. Applying proper categorization and timely resolution of tickets and rerouting wrongly assigned tickets
Escalate complex issues to appropriate channels internal or external. Engaging external vendors or partners, overseeing issues through completion, testing, and communicating back to the user
System Administration:
Co-Owner of the IT scope in our facility blueprint and system setup concepts. Maintain contact with the business, internal IT and vendors on the infrastructure to ensure all required usage guidance is executed according to standards & agreements
Liaise with stakeholders in relation to improvements, planning or issues and provide future recommendations
Monitor, maintain and update the facility tooling infrastructure (workspace, printing, access, signage) to achieve maximum uptime and trouble-free usage
Maintain internal documents and knowledge base pages as new functionality is introduced or changed
Provide guidance and training to staff on the use of new technologies and systems, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption
Perform basic updates to the systems, maintain user permissions, user roles, profiles, and hierarchies, maintain security and data protection
Project Participation:
Participate in projects to test and implement the system in new locations, running the IT stream
Participate in projects to test and deploy new features to the organization
Coordination, planning and execution of project tasks
Creation and ownership of IT scoping
Budget Management: Work closely with the project managers / sponsors to develop and manage the IT budget, track expenditures and optimize resource allocation
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT Infrastructure, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT facility planning, project management, system administration, or a similar role
Excellent communication skills in English
Understanding of systems management, network configuration, and IT building fabrics
It s meritorious if you have Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, SCRUM) and/or if you have experience from the healthcare industry
As a person, you have excellent communication skills, an analytical and creative mindset and problem solving skills. You have the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. You re also customer oriented, result driven and like to work in an innovative company that is continuously developing.
