We are looking for a new Packing Supervisor to join our growing Outbound Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Outbound Manager and oversees daily fulfillment operations to ensure customer orders are packed accurately, securely, and on time. This role manages station assignments, resource allocation, and performance for the packing team, serves as the point of contact for packing related issues or escalations, and partners with leadership to drive process improvements, maintain supply readiness, and achieve departmental goals.

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: 290,000 sq. ft. in Columbus, OH at 3840 Lockbourne Industrial Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43207

New Location: 525,000 sq. ft. in Columbus, OH at 6085 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43110 (Opening this March)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 11:00am to 7:30pm EST

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Oversee completion of all shipments daily, ensuring packing safety, quality, speed, and accuracy

Assign packers to stations and adjust resources throughout the day to meet operational needs

Monitor and maintain packing supply inventory, ensuring timely ordering and availability

Track individual/team KPIs, monitor productivity, and provide regular coaching and feedback

Conduct monthly one-on-ones with team members to build rapport, review progress, and support growth

Address personnel/performance issues promptly and ensure timecards are accurate

Participate in HR leadership meetings, provide updates, and align with departmental goals

Implement continuous improvement initiatives and execute projects assigned by the Outbound Manager

Model professionalism, accountability, and company values in all interactions and decisions

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently

Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds

Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per day

Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain, and logistics concepts

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)

Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with high attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently, multitask, and follow standard processes/procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA compliance in warehouse operations

Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
