Technical Sales Engineer - Louisiana (Baton Rouge area)
Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Louisiana. In this role, you'll work alongside the sales team to deliver combustion solutions and provide technical expertise to customers in the field. You'll play a key part in start-ups, tuning, troubleshooting, and training while building strong customer relationships.
What You'll Do:
Perform start-ups, tuning, and troubleshooting of combustion systems and fuel trains
Conduct combustion analysis and recommend burner control system optimizations
Provide technical and field support to customers and sales colleagues
Train employees and customers on system operation
25% travel
Build lasting client relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For:
2- or 4-year degree in I&E or Mechanical preferred (HS diploma with strong field experience considered)
Experience with BCS, BMS, CCS systems, DCS, and PLC-based systems (Honeywell 7800, Fireye a plus)
General PLC programming knowledge
Strong understanding of NFPA, NEC, and UL requirements
Problem-solving ability with hands-on technical experience
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
