Summary:

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the field of project controls, specifically cost control, management & reporting and including budgeting, commitment analysis, change order processing, forecasting, and estimating in support of heavy industrial/ large construction projects. Demonstrated experience with project management techniques to establish and maintain budgets, develop documents, and review and update scope and progress reports for complex, multidisciplinary projects. Demonstrated thorough knowledge of and experience performing project analysis, from concept to development, and providing recommendations. Demonstrated experience interfacing with outside organizations and effectively collaborating with clients, peers, management, and vendors to successfully meet shifting needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee all areas of cost control and change management

Oversee all Project Close Out activities

Oversee all details for cost budgets, commitments, actuals, estimates to complete, estimates at completion, trending and forecasting

Oversee all cost, forecast and change management reporting

Work closely with all company, contractor, and client staff to fully understand project status and provide complete lifecycle cost control, reporting and forecasting

Manage Change Orders in reference to all Cost and Schedule impacts

Skilled in data accumulation and analysis with specific emphasis on budget control, trending and forecasting

Continually interface with finance, accounting, procurement, subcontractors, material control, project management, and construction management as needed to provide timely and accurate cost reports and trends.

Qualifications - Internal

Qualifications:

Significant years of experience in heavy industrial / capital construction / Oil and Gas projects

Commitment to safety

User of SAP, Oracle, Excel & Word

Proven ability to communicate effectively with others (verbally, written and meetings)
