The Women's Advocate provides advocacy and support services to clients in crisis and assists clients to work toward achieving self-sufficiency.
The Women's Advocate collaborates with case managers, therapist, and the shelter manager and provides referral to other services as needed.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalency
Schedule: Full-Time and PRN
Compensation: $14.00 per hour.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years old to apply
Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
Valid driver's license
Valid auto insurance
Experience Working with children and families in a trauma informed environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience working with community members, clients regardless of income and community social services resources.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all transactions and communications
Experience in problem resolution
Team Building experience
