This role focuses on operations throughout the lifespan of various solutions and ensures functionality, efficiency, and support. This position provides leadership and strategy on discipline trends. The Operational Functional Analyst 5 is a domain expert serving as a mentor/trainer to others on a Project Team within a portfolio. This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities
Create and execute the product vision and road map
Lead efforts to elicit, represent, and communicate requirements through requirement-driven processes, written requirements deliverables, diagrams, flow charts, presentations, etc.
Lead functional testing and validation to ensure that the user experience of the product meets the original intent and is of the highest possible quality
Communicate clearly with clients, end users, developers and others throughout the design process
Instruct others about design principles, patterns, and processes
May act as a liaison with other divisions and departments
Evaluate progress and results and recommend major changes in procedures
Promote requirement-driven processes and best practices
Initiate the launch of various solutions after the design and development phase
Assignments are complex in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity
Inspire a culture of user-centered design and knowledge sharing
Work with minimal supervision, conferring with senior leaders as appropriate
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
10 years professional experience
Comprehensive knowledge, application, and expertise in all the following competencies:
Business Architecture
Business Analysis

Requirements Management
Global supply chain management and/or operations process and controls experience, including, but not limited to: sourcing, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing/logistics, omnichannel retail, digital payments, and finance/accounting
Experience with ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle), retail point-of-sale, e-commerce, and/or digital payment systems
Exceptional ability to create and share a vision, build and maintain relationships, advise and counsel with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to objectively identify problems and accurately pinpoint their root cause
Proven ability to research and understand a customer's needs, problems, and potential design constraints
Exceptional written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with software, SaaS products, and with requirements and plans
Demonstrated expertise in requirement elicitation and requirement-driven processes and best practices
Advanced experience and understanding of technical and operational application functionality
Broad business acumen with transferable skill sets across industries/portfolios
Outstanding technological/architectural to functional skill sets
General knowledge of processes and methods (i.e., Agile, Scrum)
