The Sr. Manager, Validation (DVT) Global Process Lead will be responsible for optimizing Validation test engineering processes across global engineering and test teams. This role drives engineering efficiency, reduced cycle time, and improved engineering quality through best practice identification, process convergence, maximized us of Artificial Intelligence and other digital tools while closely collaborating with business leaders, engineering leaders, and key tool owners.
This position will be based onsite at either of our Westerville / Delaware, OH locations.
Responsibilities:
(25%) Reduce validation cycle time, improve efficiency, and improve quality by identifying best practices, and optimizing validation engineering processes.
(25%) Standardize Validation processes across all products lines; driving continuous improvement.
(20%) Promote and deploy AI-based automation in Validation design workflows.
(15%) Collaborate with tool owners to ensure seamless integration between tools and processes.
(15%) Define, track, and improve key metrics (e.g., design cycle time, rework rates).
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).
Certifications in Design for Six Sigma, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies are a plus.
1015 years in Validation test engineering with a focus on validation process development and improvement
Deep understanding of Validation processes, standards, data collection systems, and test types.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to process improvement.
Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Self-motivated and proactive with minimal supervision required to seek out and implement process improvements.
Ability to travel internationally and interface with global engineering teams.
Travel Requirements:
10% travel domestically and internationally as required, with participation in global meetings outside normal working hours.
