Position Title: Travel & Tourism Trainer

Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel & Tourism Trainer with hands-on expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre. The trainer will be responsible for educating students/trainees in travel operations, reservation systems, ticketing, and tourism management, while ensuring they gain the practical skills required to succeed in the aviation, travel, and hospitality industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality training sessions on Travel & Tourism fundamentals, airline procedures, ticketing, and reservation systems.

Train students on GDS platforms (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) for flight bookings, cancellations, fare construction, and PNR creation.

Develop and update training modules, lesson plans, and practical exercises aligned with industry standards.

Provide hands-on demonstrations and ensure trainees gain practical expertise in GDS operations.

Conduct assessments, evaluations, and feedback sessions to monitor student progress.

Stay updated with the latest aviation, travel, and tourism trends, including changes in IATA guidelines and airline systems.

Support students in developing customer service, communication, and soft skills for the travel industry.

Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate/Diploma in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or Aviation.

Certification in Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is mandatory.

Prior experience as a Trainer/Instructor in Travel & Tourism or related field (preferred).

Strong knowledge of airline operations, ticketing, and tourism management.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to mentor and motivate students for industry readiness.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
