Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the accurate and timely movement of goods through receiving, inventory management, picking, WIP staging, and shipping. This position plays a key role in maintaining warehouse organization, enforcing processes, and ensuring production flow is supported effectively. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and capable of leading a team in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, staging, inventory control, and shipping.
Ensure accurate and efficient handling of all inventory and materials to support production schedules.
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse team members to achieve department goals for accuracy, productivity, and safety.
Monitor WIP staging and ensure timely delivery of garments and materials to production departments.
Communicate daily workload priorities and expectations to warehouse staff.
Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, mis-picks, and process inefficiencies.
Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards on the warehouse floor.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse environments.
Assist with performance evaluations and provide coaching or corrective action as needed.
Qualifications:
2 years of warehouse experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in apparel or digital printing.
1+ year in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, WIP processes, and inventory control.
Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; Excel a plus).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, and warehouse equipment.
This position works a 3-4 day work week, 12-hour shifts with alternating days.
Example : Monday – Wednesday, and Thursday on alternating weeks
