Mechanical Assembly Worker

Great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Assembler in the precision metal industry to join an established and growing manufacturer in Columbus!

The Mechanical Assembler will work with various components to assemble a variety of products including custom enclosures, frameworks and cabinets. This will include operating hand and power tools and rivet guns.

This is a 1st shift position working Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm.

Pay rate starts at $19 and can go up with more experience. This company cross trains and the opportunity to learn metal fabrication and machine operation and earn more money is available.

The be successful in this role, the Mechanical Assembler must have:

-2+ yrs experience in Mechanical Assembly in a job shop environment, not production line

-Experience with hand/power tools

-Ability to read prints/spec, etc. experience is a plus

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed (typical parts are 2-15 lbs)

-High School Diploma or equivalent
