Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 per year

Job Description:

The Australian Institute of Management and Technology is seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Preparing financial statements and reports

Conducting financial investigations and audits

Providing taxation and financial advice

Assisting in budgeting, cost management, and financial planning

Maintaining internal control systems

Liaising with clients and financial institutions

Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

At least 1 year of relevant experience in financial reporting, taxation, or auditing

Registration or licensing, if required

Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations

Excellent analytical and communication skills

Work Experience:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Experience with financial software and accounting systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Educational Qualifications:

Relevant degree or qualification in accounting or finance
