About the role As the Social Producer at Mamamia, you'll be at the forefront of creating, curating, and publishing engaging content across various social media platforms, ensuring it resonates with the distinctive Mamamia tone.

This role involves taking ownership of a vertical and all associated properties including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook groups, and Podcast socials.

Daily, you will be pitching innovative content ideas, managing content calendars for consistent posting, and crafting captivating reels optimized for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Acting as the gatekeeper for assigned channels, you'll also actively engage with our audience, provide valuable feedback to the content team, and stay abreast of industry trends to continually refine our content strategies.

Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us: Film, edit and distribute podcast social content for distribution across social channels Film, edit, and produce captivating reels optimised for Instagram and TikTok, incorporating trending music, effects, and editing techniques Utilise social insights to pitch segments for relevant podcast shows Create, curate, and publish high-quality engaging content across various social media platforms in Mamamia tone Pitch socially led content series and ideas at the daily editorial meeting Develop content and distribution plans for key editorial moments/relevant events Create trailers and promotional activity for internal and external opportunities Manage content calendars and schedules ensuring consistent posting frequency and timing to maximise engagement Now, a bit about you 2-3 years' experience in a similar social media content creator role Demonstrated understanding of creating content including short-form video for Instagram Reels, Stories, Grid, and TikTok Intermediate to advanced video editing capabilities (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Capcut) Experience using Hootsuite will be highly regarded Ability to plan and manage competing deadlines and priorities Strong communication skills and attention to detail Demonstrated knowledge and interest in podcasts, digital trends, digital media, and emerging technologies Life at Mamamia We're fast-paced and innovative, with a collaborative culture when it comes to industry-leading strategies and ideas.
