The successful candidate will practice and teach veterinary students in the College's Frank Stanton Veterinary Spectrum of Care (SOC) Clinic in a full-time practice track faculty position. They will coach final year students as they take the lead in providing veterinary care to patients and engage with clients from a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. In the clinic, students learn multiple approaches to patient management, and a wide range of diagnostic techniques, treatments, and clinical procedures. Students are also taught communication skills, practice management, and business. This clinic is separate from, but adjacent to, our newly remodeled tertiary care veterinary medical center. It is a stand-alone state-of-the-art private practice setting to produce outstanding veterinarians. There are multiple technologies available including those for surgery, dentistry, in-house lab work, and imaging.
